Profile of selected BA candidates for consulting phase
Tenzin Choegyal Khangsar
Tenzin Choegyal Khangsar – Tenzin is an active member of GTPN and responsible for managing operations at Reward360 in Bangalore. Tenzin plans to further sharpen his operations skills by going though a 6σ training course and get exposure on the business side by looking for new business opportunities.

 

Who could apply      
  • The Applicant could be any Tibetan business person who is at least 21 years old and had a business that has been operating for 3 years or more.
  • The applicant must be willing to attend the training course in Mumbai from September 10 to 16, 2012.
How business growth could be fast tracked

This is planned to be done through a two-ways format

 

Training from Professors & Business leaders on-campus (7days): 20 candidates has been selected from the applications received and they have been invited to a fully-sponsored business training. Training has been conducted by professors of the prestigious S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.

 

BA candidates learned about leadership, about how to expand your business, how to raise debt and equity, how to market, how to expand your existing consumer base and so in. The course had real case studies from the business world to help them get practical knowledge about business issues. At the end of the 7-day course every entrepreneur, with guidance from TechnoServe consultants, were guided to make your own strategy and plan for business growth.

 

Business mentoring at your office (till 31 July 2013): Growth strategy made at the end of the 7-day course acted as a starting point for consulting phase. Business advisors from TechnoServe(TNS) India are assisting BA candidates by working closely with them to achieve goals, apply business management skills, and also provide timely advice and mentoring.

Duration, Location & Funding Support

The in-campus course was conducted at the campus of prestigious S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. And mentoring by TNS Business Advisors will be provided to businesses at their place of work till 31 July 2013.All aspects of the program i.e. fees, food, and stay during the course and the business mentoring till 31 July 2013 is fully sponsored. Candidates who are selected for Business Accelerator were required need to organize for their travel tickets to Mumbai and back to their settlements after the course completes.
