Kelsang Tsering A 41-year old female teacher from Kollegal who wants to manufacture
and sell peanut butter in Tibetan settlements across South India. We were impressed by her due diligence- she had already done initial market research, manufactures peanut butter sample at home, looked into machine needs and
thought about the manufacturing process, machinery needs, marketing ideas etc. From the grant, Kelsang intends to buy the equipment required to start off her business.
- The applicant can be any Tibetan who is at least 18 years old and has a strong business idea or a small/ micro business that is less than 3 years old.
- The applicant must be willing to attend the training course in Mumbai from September 10 to 16, 2012.
